ACC Sustainable Product Fundraiser 2021

In the age of Anthropocene, we face the challenge of addressing a multitude of serious environmental problems. Global warming, climate change, deforestation, and biodiversity loss have not only threatened the existence of countless species, but also have unmeasurable impact on social welfare and the livelihood of many individuals.

For a more sustainable future, we as consumers need to transition towards more sustainable consumption choices to reduce our daily carbon footprint and pursue a greener lifestyle. For this year’s fundraiser, we selected nine sustainable products that have the potential of bringing positive environmental impacts. All profits from this fundraiser will be donated to international environmental organizations that dedicate to reforestation, marine protection, and coral restoration programs, including the Ocean Cleanup, Coral Restoration Foundation, Shanghai Roots & Shoots, BOOMI, and etc.

“Choices Matter.” The global environmental crisis demands systematic changes, yet societal transformation comes from numerous seemingly insignificant individual endeavors. Join us this summer to build a more sustainable future.

ACC Summer Fundraiser 2021

What we achieved together this year

The profits from this summer's fundraiser were donated to two projects. We donated $100 to the Coral Restoration Foundation to support their projects that grow and outplant endangered species of coral to restore reef sites to a healthy state and combat coral bleaching. Together with BOOMI and Shanghai Roots & Shoots, we donated 106 trees. In the upcoming spring, our trees will be planted in Tonglioo, Inner Mongolia and will help to combat desertification, deforestation, and global warming.
